It’s the drama that keeps on giving. But one person who probably isn’t too enthused about being caught up on the It Ends With Us court battle is Jameela Jamil. The actress revealed she received death threats after her texts about Blake Lively were made public. In a new post, she explained how she got “embroiled” in the “controversy.”

The court battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, which began approximately 86 years ago, rages on. And Taylor Swift isn’t the only celeb to be caught up in it.
Jameela Jamil faced a backlash recently after her not-so-flattering texts about Blake were leaked. In the messages, sent to Justin’s publicist Jennifer Abel, she refers to Blake as a “suicide bomber” and a “villain.”
The fallout was “epic” according to Jameela. She said she received “24 hours of death threats, lots of accusations of not being a real feminist, lots of encouragement for me to kill myself.”
In a new Substack post shared on Sunday, she explained exactly how she got dragged in to the mess. She wrote: “In short, I slagged off an actor in private, over their diabolical press tour in August 2024, and then the phone of the person I was texting got taken, and its contents were handed over to a third party, which unfortunately, but classically, resulted in my texts being seen by the exact person I was slagging off … (lol)!”
She continued: “Four months later, that person filed a lawsuit (not as lol), that involved the person I had been texting (because of course)… and for some reason, a year later, my texts were released, in spite of having little to no relevance to the case, with my name unredacted, to the entire world.”
