Justin Baldoni and Emily Baldoni have reportedly left California and relocated to Tennessee. The move follows Baldoni’s legal battle with Blake Lively and mounting concerns about the family’s privacy.
Justin Baldoni reportedly moved to Tennessee after his family was allegedly doxxed amid the Blake Lively legal battle
People reported that Baldoni, Emily, and their two children had been building a new life in Nashville for months. A source said the city gave the family a “fresh start” after an “incredibly difficult time.” The family made Tennessee their home in late 2025. Another source described Nashville as welcoming and healing, adding that it helped them escape some of the noise surrounding the case.
Property records obtained by the New York Post showed that the couple bought a newly built Nashville home for $3.4 million through a trust. The purchase reportedly closed in summer 2025.
The reported doxxing appears to stem from deposition materials filed in the federal case. The federal docket confirms that the parties publicly filed deposition materials and later sought redactions. However, the record does not establish that an address leak forced the move, and neither Justin nor Emily has made that connection publicly.
The couple addressed the dispute’s emotional toll in a July 8 Instagram video. Emily said the family had experienced “a lot of trauma,” while Justin said they were healing and focusing on their children, friends, community and faith.
Their move became more visible after the couple’s first public Nashville outing following the May settlement. The appearance marked Baldoni’s first public sighting after he and Lively resolved the remaining claims tied to It Ends with Us.
The legal fight began after Lively accused Baldoni and others of misconduct, and retaliation connected to the film. Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a $400 million countersuit, which a judge later dismissed, according to the Daily Mail. The parties settled Lively’s remaining claims before trial.
Lively continues to seek legal fees tied to Baldoni’s dismissed countersuit, while his lawyers have asked the court to deny or reduce her request.
For now, Baldoni and Emily appear focused on family life in Tennessee. The move appears to have given the family greater privacy, although no verified source has established that alleged doxxing alone prompted the relocation.
