Hollywood hypnotist Jim Curtis is opening up about his unlikely match with Jennifer Aniston. The pair were linked last summer, after being spotted on multiple occasions. Now, the life coach has discussed their romance on a recent episode of the Today show.
Jim was on the show to promote his new book, the Book of Possibility. There, the hosts couldn’t resist asking some questions about his A-list girlfriend — as well as cracking a few Friends jokes.

“We were just introduced by friends,” Jim said on the show. “That’s it, We found out that we had mutual friends, and we started to just chat.”
The hypnotist also revealed it wasn’t an instant relationship, and the two got to know one another before they began formally dating. “It took a long time,” Jim added. “We chatted for a long time, and we became close.”
Today co-host Craig Melvin couldn’t resist making a Friends joke off of Jim’s comments. “Which friends?” Craig quipped. “Like, Joey? Or was it Ross?” he joked, referring to the characters on the iconic sitcom Jennifer starred in from 1994 to 2004.
“All the friends!’ Jim joked back.
When asked about how long the relationship has been going, Jim said it was a “long time.” “Close to a year,” he added.
“I’m not going to put you on the spot anymore, cause you’re kind of blushing right now,” Craig pointed out. “Yeah, I sure am,” Jim responded.
Jennifer hard-launched her relationship with Jim in November 2025, sharing a snap of the life coach on her Instagram account. In turn, Jim has shared images of his ultra-famous love on his own social media channels.
Jennifer was married to fellow Hollywood giant Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. Later, she married another actor, Justin Theroux, in 2015. The pair divorced amicably in 2018.
