Kate Hudson’s appearance at the Armani show came two weeks after she graced the 83rd Annual Golden Globes red carpet in a stunning silver gown from the brand. While most celebrities wear pieces from the newest collection for a fashion show appearance, Hudson donned Look 71 from Armani Prive’s Couture Spring 2024 show. It was one of the last collections that Giorgio Armani presented.
The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” star’s ensemble featured a short-sleeve top with padded shoulders and black optical illusion pants. Columns of pink sequins decorated the top, while a black bead design adorned the collar, cuffs, and hem. It was the pants that truly elevated the look, featuring wide legs and ballooned hems. Their dramatic volume created the illusion of a single flowing gown rather than a two-piece ensemble.
Unlike the model who had walked down the runway in this piece, Hudson did not wear black oversized bangles. Instead, she put on small black earrings. She wore her blonde hair straight and sleek, parted down the middle, lending a polished finish that complemented the outfit’s clean sophistication. She also kept her makeup simple, with a natural glow and softly defined features.
While talking to WWD by the catwalk, Hudson described the new Armani Prive collection as “beautiful, like fresh air, ethereal.” She added that she was on the lookout for her next dress and refused to reveal her favourites, saying, “I’m not telling because I don’t want anyone to steal it.”
