One of the TV shows that everyone binge-watched in 2023 was Jury Duty. After all, the Amazon Prime original was one of the most unique sitcoms to-date. It began with Ronald Gadden, an unassuming nice guy, who was summoned for jury duty. The only thing was…it wasn’t actually jury duty. It was a staged, planned court case filled with hilarious actors. It was practically a Punk’d episode that stretched for multiple days.
With multiple Emmy noms and the world’s attention, it was a shock when it wasn’t immediately renewed for a Season 2. But now, after three years of waiting, there’s finally an update, and it’s an interesting one.
Amazon Prime Video’s Jury Duty will return for Season 2

According to E! News, Jury Duty is in fact coming back with a second season. However, it’s going to be nothing like the sitcom we’ve come to know and love.
Now called Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, a new random guy will be put in the hot seat. But, he’s not going to be a part of a jury this time. Instead, he thinks he’s attending a company event for a made-up hot sauce business. A newly hired temp employee for the brand, he’s walking into this with no expectations. Which makes it the perfect forum to drive him crazy and make him question everything and everyone.
Aside from sharing that the Ronald-replacement is a man named Anthony, there’s no info on the cast just yet. One of the biggest stars from Season 1 was Cyclops himself, actor James Marden. So far he’s not confirmed nor denied his involvement with the next season.
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat will premiere on Prime Video on March 20 with the first three episodes. The first season is streaming now on Prime.
