Kendall Jenner did not shy away from taking a long-running internet joke about the “Kardashian curse” and turning it into a Super Bowl headline, and now the New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, has weighed in. After Jenner brought up the so-called “Kardashian curse” while promoting her new Fanatics Sportsbook campaign, Kraft clarified that he is not going to lose sleep over the rumor. In fact, he sounded ready to welcome the scrutiny.
Patriots owner’s response to Kendall Jenner’s ‘Kardashian curse’: ‘Let’s do it together’
The official X (formerly Twitter) page of the New England Patriots shared a video on January 29, featuring their owner, Robert Kraft, who addressed Kendall Jenner directly as well as the “Kardashian curse.” He heard she had placed her bet on the Patriots to win the 2026 Super Bowl. As such, Kraft said, “Kendall, I just heard you put your money on us to win this big game,” brushing off the idea behind the “curse.”
The “Kardashian curse” is a fan theory that claims athletes who date Jenner or her sisters will see their careers take a hit. However, Kraft said, “You know what? I don’t believe that thing about the ‘Kardashian curse’,” adding that the Patriots know how to handle pressure. He said, “We’ve been underdogs plenty of times, and we’ve done OK.” Kraft ended the message with a positive spirit. It said, “Let’s do it together.”
The video’s caption was another supportive message aimed at Jenner: “Hey @KendallJenner, we got this?” Jenner’s comments arrived as part of her Super Bowl ad push for Fanatics Sportsbook, where she joked about the online narrative and then shifted her focus to football. Moreover, she discussed the campaign during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
There, Jenner revealed that she landed on the Patriots after getting advice from former quarterback Tom Brady through a FaceTime call. The Patriots owner himself does not believe in the “Kardashian curse” superstition, and he urges Kendall Jenner to focus on the game and if Jenner wants in on the ride, he is fine with that.
