The post summarized a report alleging that Kendall’s family had concerns about her relationship with Jacob Elordi. The original report claimed Kendall was “footing the bill” for expensive trips, luxury hotels and private jets. It also alleged that Elordi was not contributing to those costs.
Brody quickly rejected that narrative. “I can confirm that this is clickbait,” he wrote in the comments, alongside a thumbs-down emoji, according to Just Jared. Neither Kendall nor Elordi has publicly addressed the money claims. Both have also kept their relationship relatively private despite spending more time together in public.
The Jacob Elordi dating rumors began building earlier this year. Fans first connected the pair after several spring sightings, including Coachella. Neither star publicly confirmed the romance at the time. Their early dating speculation focused largely on their repeated appearances together.
Since then, the pair have traveled extensively. They reportedly visited Hawaii before spending time together in Japan and Australia. Their Hawaii getaway reportedly made the relationship more serious. Weeks later, Kendall and Elordi stepped out together in Byron Bay, where they took his dog for a walk.
The Kendall Jenner luxury trips continued through the summer. Most recently, the pair held hands during a London outing after Elordi attended a movie premiere.
Still, Brody’s response challenges the idea that those trips reveal anything about the couple’s finances. For now, the spending claims remain unverified, and his “clickbait” comment offers the clearest family reaction to them.
