As former Prince Andrew’s departure date from Royal Lodge approaches, King Charles’ “worries” about his younger brother are reportedly becoming more evident. Despite the King ordering the removal of Prince Andrew’s titles and asking him to vacate Royal Lodge, he still “worries about his brother’s welfare.” The King wants to ensure that Andrew’s needs are well taken care of. It’s evident that Charles isn’t ready to give up on his younger brother and still cares deeply for him.
King Charles ‘worries’ about Ex-Prince Andrew and ensures he’s looked after, says source
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is all set to leave his royal mansion. He will temporarily relocate to a house on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. After the renovations are done, he will be moving to Marsh Farm, an abode featuring five bedrooms.
A source told Radar Online that he will not feel a drastic change in his life after moving from Royal Lodge. As per the source, Andrew’s lifestyle is “extremely inward-looking.” He likes spending time watching films, playing video games, and reading novels. Even though he will move out of Royal Lodge, the new place will only change the address on his mail. However, it will do little to nothing to “alter the day-to-day rhythm of his life.”
Andrew’s friends describe him as “increasingly isolated.” They revealed that earlier, the former Duke of York used to dine out often. However, now he allegedly eats alone while watching television.
As far as family support is concerned, King Charles still deeply “worries” about his brother. It’s alleged that the King will see him while at Sandringham. An insider shared that although Charles is angry and disappointed with Andrew, he “continues to feel a deep sense of responsibility toward him.” The insider continued that he “worries about his brother’s welfare and views ensuring Andrew is properly looked after as a personal obligation.”
While Andrew’s life is believed not to have changed heavily after the relocation, the same cannot be said about his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. A source revealed that she is “struggling deeply” with the thought of having to move out of the royal mansion.
