Francie’s son is in a huge mess in the aftermath of her grandson’s death. Anthony was 13-years old when his father, Gregory, allegedly shot and killed him last summer. Speaking to the US Sun, Collier County Sheriff Kevin Ramboski said, “Our detectives conducted an exhaustive and thorough investigation.” They concluded that Gregory was the suspect in the case and apprehended him seven months ago.

The charges against him include aggravated manslaughter of a child with a firearm and using a firearm while under the influence. Kevin states that Gregory consumed alcohol for several hours at a local establishment in Florida. He adds that the father later used alcohol and marijuana at a friend’s place, where he and his son watched a UFC event on television.

According to police, Gregory repeatedly handled a firearm while the child was present. They say he was practicing drawing it from his waistband and dry firing. At one point, the firearm was rendered safe by removing the magazine and clearing a live round from the chamber. They claim the magazine and round chamber were re-inserted, with Gregory discharging a single shot that struck and killed his son.

The incident, which took place last July, reportedly occurred in Naples, Florida. The Bounty Hunter has called it an incomprehensible accident. If convicted, Gregory could face life in prison.
