After news broke that Casey Wasserman is in the Epstein files, singer Chappell Roan announced she left his talent agency. The Wasserman Group represents some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
This agency’s clients include Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Kasey Musgraves, Lorde and Pharrell. Meanwhile, after the news about Casey came about, the agency removed the client list from its website.

Chappell’s Instagram post on Monday, February 9, gave more insight into her decision. The Grammy winner explained, “I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well.” She said artists, agents and employees shouldn’t be forced to defend or overlook actions that conflict with their moral values. “I have deep respect and appreciation for the agents and staff who work tirelessly for their artists and I refuse to passively stand by,” she said.
The “Pink Pony Club” singer added, “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”
Wednesday, Beach Bunny and Water From Your Eye also cut ties with The Wasserstrom Group. The indie rock groups are asking for Casey’s resignation from the agency he has run for 24 years. Beach Bunny posted its demand on social media, saying representation from the company goes against its values and “cannot continue.”
In addition to heading the agency, Casey is chairman and president of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. City Council members, LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and state Senator Lena Gonzalez are asking for his resignation, reports the Los Angeles Times.
In a New York Times interview, Casey said he had no personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He also regrets corresponding with Ghislaine Maxwell, which was two decades before her crimes were revealed.
