Jill Zarin has been officially fired from the show after a tirade against Bad Bunny and his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance – something which followers branded racist.

Just one full week after The Golden Life was announced, it has lost one of its leading stars. The consensus was clear once Jill Zarin posted a nasty video taking aim at Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performance; she had to go.
Aside from the equally ignorant Taylor Armstrong, the Bravo universe seemed pretty united in condemnation of Jill. Even Andy Cohen passed comment – although he said those complaining to him should now get in touch with E!. It sounds as though those fans listened…
Blink49 Studios, producing The Golden Life, issued a statement via E!. It reads: “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
Zarin Fabrics also posted a statement earlier this week, making sure their followers knew Jill has nothing to do with the company. Everybody is washing their hands of Jill, and so the question remains. What will be her next move? An apology? Unlikely. A lurch even further to the right and perhaps a primetime spot at a Turning Point convention? Keep your eyes peeled.
