Kylie Jenner says ‘she didn’t hold back’ on posting on the internet when she was younger

Kylie Jenner had a deep conversation about her Internet influence on a podcast. She was accompanied by Charli XCX and Aidan Zamiri. From her acting experience in “The Moment” to their 2016 memories, the trio talked about a lot of things. In one moment during the podcast, they conversed about their first Instagram posts.

Jenner mentioned that her first post would be either a fireplace or her selfie. The singer showed a photo of a fireplace, saying she was right. The photo was captioned, “Rainday Fire.” She asked about the vision behind the photo. To this, Jenner replied that she was in her mother’s living room when she set up her Instagram. She didn’t really put a lot of thought into it, as she was super excited to post something.

After revisiting each other’s first Instagram posts, they talked about Internet culture. The “Vroom Vroom” hitmaker asked Jenner about her experience shaping Internet culture for almost a decade.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder responded, “You know just to get deep on you guys, I think like being in the public eyes so young, I think I look back and I have so much grace for myself.” She continued that at that time, she wasn’t aware of how much power she held over trends that she was setting.

Jenner said, “I just try to be easy on myself and not expect this 16-year-old or 17 year old to know all the right things to say or do.”

Zamiri then noted that they weren’t nervous about being cringe at the time. He further said it’s cool to give grace to your younger self.
