Wunmi Mosaku, who portrayed Annie in Sinners, cradled her baby bump at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon. She was wearing a floor-length, olive-green gown that hugged her body from the neckline to the hips. It flowed into a relaxed skirt. Shameelah Hicks styled the actress, and the dress was from Ri Mi.
Mosaku already shares a toddler daughter with her husband. The “Loki” star revealed her pregnancy at the 2026 Golden Globes. At the star-studded event, she stepped on the red carpet in a custom yellow Matthew Reisman gown. In a personal essay published on Vogue, she stated that the dress’s yellow hue reminded her of the Yoruba phrase, “Iya ni Wúrà.” It means “mother is golden.”
In the same essay, the BAFTA winner also addressed the reason she decided to share her personal news. She wrote, “Everything in me resists sharing it publicly—not because I’m not grateful or joyful, but because this feels like one of the few things that truly belongs to me.”
“I’ll be in the public eye for the coming weeks [during awards season] as we excitedly take our seats amongst our peers. I will be doing it with an ever-growing bump,” she added. The news of her second pregnancy came a month after her Sinners co-star Hailee Steinfeld announced her own pregnancy. The “Dickinson” star is expecting her first child with husband Josh Allen.
In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight at the 2026 National Board of Review Awards Gala, Mosaku revealed the advice she gave Steinfeld. She told the outlet, “I mean, my advice generally is be careful which advice you take, but I really wanted her to enjoy the moment.” Finally, she told the “Hawkeye” actress to rest as much as possible and enjoy her pregnancy.
