Chris Hemsworth might be a Hollywood superstar, but he is also a girl dad. He is currently on the promotional tour for Crime 101. In a recent interview, he revealed that he had to “bribe” his 13-year-old daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, to return for Avengers: Doomsday.

During his appearance on the February 12 episode of The View, Chris Hemsworth said that getting his daughter on set for Avengers: Doomsday involved a little “negotiation.” Referring to India’s role as Love in Thor: Love and Thunder, her father said, “She’s now 13, so she’s a teenager, so a bit different to when we shot the other one. And she walks on set and she’s like, ‘Ugh, how long is this gonna take?’ I was like, ‘We haven’t even started!”
After filming their first take together, India asked if they were done. When Hemsworth informed her that it would take two or three more days, she was less than excited. He recalled her reaction, “[She’s like] ‘Oh, god,’ just this angsty teenage attitude. She kept going back to the tent or sitting in her chair.”
At one point, the young actress outright refused to come back to the set. She also complained about not getting paid to do it. Hemsworth continued, “And in the end, I had to bribe her to come onto set. She’s like, ‘I’m not coming! I’m not even getting paid! What am I even doing here?’ And I go, ‘You are getting paid.’ She goes, ‘Really? You didn’t tell me that.’” He explained to her that she would get the money when she turned 18.
The Marvel star revealed that one of the reasons India wanted to leave the set was that she wanted to attend a Billie Eilish concert. India also managed to negotiate with her dad about using some of her paycheck. He recalled, “She races motorbikes and rides motorbikes and she goes, ‘…Could I afford that motorbike that I wanted?’ I was like, ‘You possibly could.’ So a slight negotiation and off she went.”
