Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson appear deeply in love. Their dating journey reportedly began in July 2025, and the speculations started when viewers noticed a glimpse of Thompson in the background of some of her photos. Later, they arrived together at a red carpet event in the same month, further intensifying the speculations.
The “Mamushi” hitmaker recently shared all about her relationship with Thompson in an interview with PEOPLE. She stated that she definitely didn’t see her relationship with the Dallas Mavericks player coming.
Stallion said, “Well, I don’t never want to tell [anybody] to just jump in a relationship just because everybody else got one, and I’m not going to tell you to just jump in a relationship because you have to.” She continued, “I didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest.”
Stallion, who is an advocate of mental health, shared that she found a beautiful relationship when she started focusing on self-love first. Emphasizing the importance of introspection and mental health, she shared, “I think that because finally I started being in a better mind space about myself and my life, and I had already been doing a lot of work to heal me.”
“I had been going to therapy, I had a bunch of activities that I started doing for myself; maybe God just opened up that space for me to have somebody that loved me right,” she continued. The 30-year-old feels “comfy” in her relationship. She expressed that this is one of the first times she finds herself “overly comfortable.”
