Angelina Jolie is seemingly fed up with living in the US. Although her work and her family have kept her in Los Angeles for decades, the actor is now reportedly looking to move overseas.
Angelina Jolie’s priority is “her children”

According to an insider who spoke to PEOPLE, Angelina “never wanted to live in LA full-time.”
“She didn’t have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad,” the source went on, pointing to Angelina’s split from ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The pair have three biological children together, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, as well as three adopted kids, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara.
This year, her two youngest children turn 18, which will allow Angelina to move away, per the source. “She’s eyeing several locations abroad,” the insider claimed. “She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles.”
Angelina’s desire to leave America should come as no surprise. In September, she criticized the US while attending the San Sebastián Film Festival in Spain. “I love my country, but at this time, I don’t recognize my country,” she said, via Variety.
“I’ve always lived internationally, my family is international, my friends, my life,” she added. “My worldview is equal, united, and international.”
Angelina continued to say that any place which “limits personal expressions and freedoms” is “very dangerous.”
“These are such serious times that we have to be careful not to say things casually,” she added of the political climate. “These are very, very heavy times we are living in together.”
The Mr and Mrs actor made a similar statement in a 2017 op-ed for The New York Times. In her article, she spoke out against President Donald Trump’s immigration ban. “We can manage our security without writing off citizens of entire countries – even babies – as unsafe to visit our country by virtue of geography or religion,” she wrote.
