Teyana Taylor made yet another fashion choice that was unapologetically her. She donned a custom-made plum Burberry dress for her appearance at the BAFTAs 2026, held on February 22 at Southbank Center in London. Creative director Daniel Lee designed the trench coat-inspired dress, but added some drama to it with the ruffled funnel neck that wrapped around Taylor’s face.
A belt cinched the gown at the waist, and the full sleeves featured belt details along the sleeve trims. The dress’s skirt flared at the hem, extending into a small train that fanned out on the red carpet behind the actress. The high slit at the front revealed the thigh-high burgundy boots she wore beneath the dress, maintaining the monochromatic palette throughout her look. Styled regularly by Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, she also appeared to be wearing gloves that matched her outfit.
Taylor’s accessories elevated the outfit to a whole new level. According to Instore, she wore a Retro bracelet from the Tiffany & Co. Archives, specifically from the 1940-50 vault. The gold and platinum accessory was set with diamonds and citrine. On her ears were 14-karat diamond earrings.
Further, she had a Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooch pinned to her right shoulder. Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and platinum, the brooch featured a citrine weighing over 50 carats, diamonds, and a pink sapphire. Jean Schlumberg originally created the design in 1965. Other pieces she wore included a platinum ring set with a spessartine garnet and a Sixteen Stone ring set with rubies and diamonds.
