Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau’s kids celebrate Team USA’s gold medal

This emotional moment happened right after Team USA defeated Team Canada, and that too, with 2-1. This helped them make their mark on the ice, with gold. This emotional moment, celebrating the legacy of Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau, was truly a tribute that underscored how sport and family are woven together in beautiful ways.

Also, the players waved Johnny’s no. 13 jersey as they beautifully skated around the rink to honor his talent and showcase his presence with them. This was also an extremely emotional moment for their parents, Jane Gaudreau and Guy Gaudreau, who stood in the stands, wiping away their tears.

“We wanted to get the whole family on, but it was kind of hard with the gate, so we figured we’d grab the kids,” Werenski, Johnny’s former Blue Jackets teammate, said and added, “But it was a special moment seeing (their parents) Guy and Jane.”

Furthermore, the players also posed with Johnny’s jersey while holding his kids. The little ones were all smiles as they posed for a picture with the team. This photo undoubtedly shows that his name is etched forever in the team’s hearts.
