Sydney Sweeney Will No Longer Work With Ex-Fiance Jonathan Davino — Report

Sydney Sweeney has severed all business ties with ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino. She has reportedly dissolved the production company she co-founded with Davino. The Housemaid actress has now re-launched the company under the same name, marking a new chapter in her professional career. For those unversed, Sweeney and Davino began dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022. The duo quietly split at the beginning of 2025.

Sydney Sweeney cuts business ties with Jonathan Davino, reports claim

TMZ reported that Sydney Sweeney has cut all ties with ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino. Back in January 2019, Sweeney and Davino launched their production company, Fifty-Fifty Films LLC, shortly after they began dating. As per official records, both the Euphoria alum and the film producer were listed as managers of the production company in May 2025.

However, sources revealed to TMZ that Sweeney paid Davino out so she could have “a clean slate.” He has nothing to do with her life. Not only that, according to insiders, Davino has been telling people that he “made” her. However, Sweeney and people close to her strongly disagree with her ex’s claims about her.

Notably, Fifty-Fifty Films LLC described itself as an “independent production studio.” They collaborated on the actress’ horror film Immaculate along with the hit rom-com movie Anyone But You, co-starring Glen Powell. But on December 12, 2025, a few months after the couple split, the exes filed to dissolve their production company. They filed documents with the State of California stating that all the members of the board had voted for the dissolution of Fifty-Fifty Films LLC.

According to the outlet, Sweeney filed paperwork in January 2026 to start a new company called Fifty-Fifty Films, Inc. According to the filing, the actress will be donning multiple hats. She will be the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary. Moreover, according to the paperwork, there are no vacant board seats.

At the time of the news of their breakup, a source told PEOPLE, “She’s not ready to settle down. They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off.” The insider further continued, “They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
