Ex-Prince Andrew reportedly had a private “massage” session inside one of the rooms at Buckingham Palace. It allegedly took place in June 2000, just a few months before the former Duke of York became the UK Trade Envoy the next year, in 2001. The bill for the alleged massage was £75, and the palace reportedly paid it directly from a Coutts account.
Masseuse claims Ex-Prince Andrew was ‘very gentlemanly’ during private massage
Ex-Prince Andrew allegedly behaved like a “gentleman” during a private “massage” session inside Buckingham Palace. As reported by the Daily Mail, Monique Giannelloni, a professional masseuse from South Africa, gave them an invoice for the former Duke of York’s massage session. It stated that the palace then paid the £75 bill directly from a Coutts account.
The professional masseuse further spoke to the news outlet about her experience with the private massage session with ex-Prince Andrew. She reportedly shared, “I got to the room and Andrew was stood there in a robe.”
Monique Giannelloni continued, “After saying “Hello”, he disappeared to the bathroom and came back in the nude.” Then the masseuse explained, “I averted my eyes and I was quite embarrassed.” After that, Giannelloni claimed that, besides the “embarrassment” in the beginning, she did not face any other issues during the private massage.
Per the news outlet, the South African masseuse said that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was “very nice and very gentlemanly.” She continued, “I was so nervous I was in Buckingham Palace.” She further explained, “I was going through the motions and doing what I knew.”
According to the news outlet, the professional masseuse also said, “If there was anything untoward I don’t really remember noticing that except for the fact he took the towel off very fast.” Monique Giannelloni then expressed, “I can’t actually say anything bad about Prince Andrew in my experience on that day.” “I only massaged him once,” the masseuse also added.
