It looks like Jessica Simpson is walking away the big winner amid another break-up. It has been over a year since she and Eric Johnson split up, with the I Wanna Love You Forever singer announcing in January 2025 that they had separated.
Since their split, there have been plenty of unknowns about what either party will get. Jessica and Eric had three children during their time together: two girls and a boy, with the youngest born in 2019. There were questions about what might happen to their $17 million mansion. That question appears to have been answered.

After a lot of thought, Jessica and Eric’s $17 million house will no longer be on the market. The former NFL tight end has moved out, according to TMZ, with sources adding that he got his own place near his estranged wife. Jessica’s home in Los Angeles has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 10,000 square feet.
It wasn’t a guarantee that the Take My Breath Away singer would be holding onto the mansion. In 2023, the home was listed for $22 million. She then briefly took it off the market, only to put it back up for sale, dropping the price to $17.9 million in January. In the end, the price was too rich for people’s blood, or Jessica just decided she wanted to stay. She bought the house originally from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in 2013 for $11.5 million.
She isn’t in the massive mansion by herself. Sources say that her children spend their time there when Jessica has them. In October, Jessica admitted that being a single mom at 45 was not how she envisioned her life.
