According to law enforcement sources, Spears was arrested in Ventura County, California, on March 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Furthermore, the California Highway Patrol confirmed that Spears was “driving erratically at a high rate of speed, showed signs of impairment, and submitted to a series of field sobriety tests. She was subsequently arrested for a violation of California Vehicle Code section 23152(g), driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol.” However, she hasn’t made any statements about the same yet.
Meanwhile, Spears’ representative did make a statement, saying, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable.
