While watching a performance during a visit to Leicester’s Golden Mile to meet families and community leaders, Kate Middleton shared that Prince William and her kids love to dance. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are apparently big on dancing — and Louis, in particular, is the biggest fan.
The Princess of Wales arrived to a lively welcome, which included music, crowds, and dancers performing at the Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre, which had recently marked Holi, an Indian festival.
Kate Middleton reveals her kids ‘love’ dancing, especially Prince Louis
The Daily Mail reported that the princess received a garland of pearls and roses and held a rose during the routine. After the performance, Kate Middleton praised the dancers’ energy, revealing that her and Prince William’s kids love to dance.
She reportedly praised them, saying, “You must be super fit because it’s super energetic.” Middleton then connected it back to her children, adding, “My children would love that, they love their dancing. Louis would love your dance routine.”
Moreover, the Daily Mail reported that Middleton later joined in with traditional dancing during her first official visit to a Hindu temple in Britain, the Shreeji Dham Haveli Hindu Temple, where she removed her shoes in keeping with custom. Besides, when invited to take part in a ladies’ dance during a religious ceremony, she reportedly replied, “Oh, go on then.”
The engagement further included meetings with local businesses, including a family-run sari shop and a restaurant where she sat down for chai and Indian sweets, reportedly telling them, “What’s lovely about a family business is that the values still stay. That’s the heart of it.”
By the end of the day, Kate Middleton had listened to the people, asked them questions, mingled with them, and told them that Prince William and her kids would “love” their “dance routine” — a moment that fit right into the celebration and the culture.
