At last night’s 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards, Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo won big. The Summer House alums took home the top prize when they won Podcast of the Year for their Giggly Squad podcast.
Runners up in the competition were Good Hang With Amy Poehler, Call Her Daddy and The Daily podcasts.
Even though Good Hang didn’t win the top prize, it did take home Best Comedy podcast. Meanwhile, Wisecrack won Best Crime podcast. In addition, The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett won the Best Business and Finance podcast, while Watch What Crappens won Best TV & Film.
The 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards saw Giggly Squad win big
Saturday Night Live alum Ego Nwodim hosted the ceremony. Guests and presenters included such stars as Will Ferrell, Clayton Echard, Eric Andre, Iliza Shlesinger, Jennie Garth, Jonathan Goldstein, Juju Green, Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, Lele Pons and Rider Strong.
Furthermore, iHeartMedia presented the 2026 Social Impact Award to On Purpose with Jay Shetty for his conversations concerning mental health. The host of NPR’s Fresh Air podcast, Terry Gross, won the 2026 Audible Audio Pioneer Award, while Hrishikesh Hirway, creator of the Song Exploder podcast, received the 2026 Innovator Award.
Since leaving Summer House, Paige has been keeping busy. In addition to hosting Giggly Squad with Hannah, on February 20 she hosted The Actor Awards red carpet pre-show on Netflix. She also penned a New York Times bestseller, went on a Giggly Squad tour and launched her own line of sleepwear/loungewear called Daphne, named after her cat.
After leaving Summer House in Season 5, Hannah launched a career as a stand-up comedian and released a Netflix special in 2024. Oh, and she also married her boyfriend, fellow comedian Des Bishop in 2022.
