Nancy Guthrie’s Neighbors Address New Concerns in FBI Investigation — Report

The search for Nancy Guthrie continues to raise new questions as investigators work through a growing number of leads in the case. While authorities have remained largely tight-lipped, people living near the Guthrie family home are now speaking out about what they’ve observed in recent weeks. According to reports, some neighbors believe there may still be overlooked details that could help the case.

As the FBI-led investigation progresses, some of Nancy Guthrie’s neighbors are reportedly raising concerns about the direction of the investigation. According to Us Weekly’s report, at least one neighbor claimed they have not been re-interviewed about potential internet disruptions in the area.

“We thought the police would come by again and ask about that, but they haven’t,” the neighbor said. “I wish they would, because I think people are remembering bits of information like that, and maybe it would help the case.”

Investigators have reportedly been looking into whether there were internet outages near Nancy’s home around the time she disappeared. Some experts have suggested that a WiFi jammer could have been used, which might indicate a “higher degree of planning.” However, authorities have not publicly verified these claims, and the FBI has declined to comment on the ongoing investigation.

The same neighbor also suggested that visible police activity in the area has slowed in recent weeks. “I have not seen or heard of investigators at any neighboring properties in a few weeks now,” they said. “I really don’t know what else they are doing.”

Despite these concerns, law enforcement officials have indicated they are continuing to review evidence and tips. Security expert Dan Donovan noted that certain elements of the case may suggest planning. However, he added that other reported details, including alleged ransom messages, do not necessarily point to a highly sophisticated operation.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who is leading the investigation, had also stated that the incident may have been targeted. Nonetheless, he did not confirm a motive yet. That uncertainty has left room for speculation within the community. One neighbor previously told the outlet they believe the situation felt “very specific,” rather than random.
