At 82, Mick Jagger is apparently ready to put an end to his life on the road. The Rolling Stones’ lead singer has given countless live concerts throughout his illustrious career in music, while writing and performing a plethora of hit songs.
A harrowing experience involving his girlfriend has forced him to “reassess his priorities,” according to an insider. In February, Melanie Hamrick shared online that she’d been “physically attacked at Annabel’s Mayfair.” That is a private members’ club in London.
Melanie Hamrick’s assault has reportedly left Mick Jagger reeling

Some personal traumas this year is putting things in perspective for Mick about what’s important. “Mick’s not getting any younger and has had more than his share of heartache recently,” an insider told RadarOnline.
In addition to his 38-year-old girlfriend’s attack, Mick had been dealing with a missing person’s case in January. The missing person was none other than Alexander Key, the boyfriend of his granddaughter, Assisi Jackson. Sadly, Alexander was found dead last month.
The alleged attack on Melanie has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer apparently shaken. Melanie says that some people stepped in to help her during the frightening incident.
For over 60 years Mick and his bandmates have been doing several tours, though things have apparently been scaled back in recent times. That’s partly to do with what Mick’s been experiencing emotionally, but also the health issues of Keith Richards. Keith is dealing with arthritis. Meanwhile, in 2021, the group lost Charlie Watts, who died at 80.
According to a source, Mick has been in a very dark place for a while. He’s taken a lot of personal hits and may be ready to commit to family life going forward. That’s something some say he’s neglected for years to tour and release new music. Mick has eight kids from five different women.
