The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul is accustomed to being in front of the camera – even when it’s snapping a mug shot.
The police photo from her 2023 assault case recently surfaced. The 2023 snap was taken following a violent fight with her then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Allegedly, the fight took place in front of one of her two children with ex-husband Tate Paul.
Apparently, Taylor’s still dealing with the fallout from that case. And now she’s got new charges to add to her arrest record, after things recently got physical between the pair.
The mugshot was taken following a 2023 assault arrest

Taylor’s 2023 arrest and domestic violence allegations featured heavily in SLOMW Season 1. According to TMZ, Taylor eventually struck a plea deal and pled guilty to one third-degree felony count of aggravated assault.
After the other four charges were dismissed, Taylor was required to check in with a probation officer. Additionally, she was court mandated to submit to drug testing for three years and avoid breaking any laws until August 2026.
Actually, the mom of three did so well in the program, prosecutors offered to end her probation early. However, she turned it down and agreed to remain under supervision for the rest of her sentence.
Meanwhile, SLOMW Season 5 production is on pause while the dust settles. Taylor’s arguing that she didn’t do anything wrong, claiming it was Dakota who was abusive. However, Dakota allegedly has multiple videos showing Taylor getting physical in front of their two-year-old son Ever.
Aside from bringing drama to SLOMW, Taylor is also set to star in the upcoming season of ABC’s The Bachelorette. Season 22 premieres on March 22 with Taylor in the lead role – for now.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 4 is now streaming on Hulu.
