Miley Cyrus is allegedly planning to tie the knot with fiancé Maxx Morando in a small-scale ceremony. Although the couple has made several public appearances on red carpets together, they have mostly kept their relationship private. A source has recently claimed that their wedding will be just as private.
Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando’s wedding won’t be a ‘big Hollywood production,’ per source
Maxx Morando popped the question to Miley Cyrus late last year, and the ring on her finger was the confirmation that she said yes. According to a March 17 report by PEOPLE, a source revealed that the couple is envisioning a “smaller, more meaningful” wedding rather than a “huge” celebration.
The insider stated that the songstress has “ideas” for the event, but does not plan to have a “huge, traditional event.” They continued, “Maxx is extremely private, and that’s just not who he is. When they do get married, it will be something smaller and meaningful to them. Not a big Hollywood production.”
Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando were first linked in December 2021. The following year, they were spotted kissing in West Hollywood, which seemed to confirm the dating rumors. In 2023, the “Hannah Montana” alum shared with British Vogue that she met the drummer on a blind date. She clarified, “Well, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, ‘The worst that can happen is I leave.'”
Cut to December 2025, Deux Moi speculated that Cyrus and Morando had taken their relationship to the next level in mid-November. The “Flowers” singer appeared to be wearing her engagement ring on her left ring finger in the birthday photos she had shared in late November.
During her appearance on Good Morning America on December 3, the “Flowers” singer revealed how Morando had surprised her with the proposal. She said, “I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered. And I’m telling you, I was so, so, so surprised.” These days, she is busy celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Hannah Montana.”
