A latest photo shared on Instagram shows Britney Spears standing in line at a Starbucks in Malibu, California. The “Gimme More” hitmaker was seen wearing a long brown coat styled with stylish black sunglasses as she stood in a queue at Starbucks in the Malibu Country Mart. She wore her hair down and carried a bag while holding a cellphone in her hand.
The picture comes days after California Highway Patrol officers reportedly arrested her earlier this month for erratic driving. This marks her first public appearance after authorities reportedly arrested her. Page Six reports that county prosecutors are reviewing her case. As per a statement made by a spokesperson for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, the case against the singer is “under review” by prosecutors.
The statement further read, “Part of that review might include seeking additional information and evidence. A filing decision will be made before the scheduled May 4, 2026, court date.” Earlier, too, a video showing her driving her black BMW erratically after a night out with a friend went viral.
Her manager, Cade Hudson, spoke to the outlet and said this “unfortunate incident” is “completely inexcusable.” The statement continued, “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
