Celebrity stylist and fashion guru, Law Roach, is providing his predictions for the 2026 Met Gala glam. He has a top tier roster of clientele, including Zendaya, Bella Hadid and Celine Dion.
The 2026 Met Gala will be held on Monday, May 4. The theme is Fashion Is Art, and the event is co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour.
What should we expect from the Met Gala 2026?
On March 24 at the 89th Annual Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala, Law told E! News, “You’re always excited to see the way people interpret the theme, and Fashion as Art is a very broad theme, so maybe we’ll see someone dressed as the Mona Lisa, which I’m sure somebody will do that.”
He admits his job is not as glamorous as it seems, since it can be challenging having a client stand out in a short period. “It’s a lot of stress, and they’re only on the carpet for like five minutes,” he noted to E! News, “and then you go in, and it’s all over. So, it’s months and months of hard work for a five-minute payout.”
Law, who calls himself an image architect, recalls styling 12 celebrity clients for a single Met Gala event. It’s never a one and done, especially for Zendaya, a long-term client. “Our relationship is so symbiotic that it could be one dress, it could be a thousand dresses,” he said in the interview. “You just never know.”
Law said if he weren’t a celebrity stylist, his career would have taken a different turn. “Without fashion I would probably be a dentist, maybe,” he quipped to E! News. “It really allows you to be whoever you want to be. It allows you to dream, it allows you to be delusional. So, I think without it, I don’t know if I would be such a happy person.”
