Janice Dickinson is breaking her silence on Netflix’s controversial America’s Next Top Model documentary. The ANTM star told TMZ she regrets being part of the competition show and blasted her former colleague, Tyra Banks. The bombshell documentary exposed some of the reality show’s most controversial moments, and numerous contestants spoke out about feeling mistreated by Tyra and production. Now, Janice is sharing her thoughts on the matter.
Here’s what you need to know.
Janice Dickinson wishes she never did ANTM

Janice told TMZ After Dark that she regrets her involvement in the show.
“My take on it right now is [that] I’m sorry I did it,” she shared. “I did not have a good time.”
She then shared her thoughts on her former boss, Tyra Banks, which contained a few expletives.
“She’s a b*tch,” she said. “Tyra Banks is a 100 percent a b*tch. She was mean to me. She was terrible with models.”
“How can you make models change ethnicities?” she added, referencing a problematic ANTM photoshoot that was included in the documentary. “Naughty, naughty, naughty.”
Janice is not the first colleague to speak publicly about their beef with Tyra. In 2020, Jay Manuel released a novel titled The Wig, the Bitch and the Meltdown, which fans believe is inspired by Tyra and ANTM.
A synopsis for the book reads, “The Wig, The Bitch & The Meltdown is a satirical look behind the scenes of the fictional reality model competition show Model Muse, and global phenomenon. Seen through the eyes of our moral compass narrator, Pablo Michaels-the heart of the production in the helter-skelter world of Model Muse-we see behind-the-scenes and backstage shenanigans of the fashion/reality TV world.”
Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model is available to stream on Netflix.
