NHL reporter Jessi Pierce’s house wasn’t set on fire ‘intentionally’

New details about NHL reporter Jessi Pierce’s house fire were recently released, as per a report by People. The White Bear Lake Fire Department (WBLFD) posted an “update” on social media. They mentioned that the fatal incident took away four human lives on March 21. Thus, they would dedicate “all possible resources” to investigating the real cause of the devastating case.

Furthermore, the fire department confirmed that the early stage of findings “have not led to evidence that the fire was set intentionally.” It meant the case reportedly didn’t come under arson.

Then, the statement outlined what the investigators have been prioritizing. “Our priorities are, first and foremost, being present for those directly affected by this tragedy, conducting a thorough investigation, and ensuring our first responders involved in this incident heal alongside the community,” WBLFD stated.

They conveyed their condolence to the family and friends of the deceased. Additionally, they mentioned that the community was also “grieving this loss” with them. Moreover, the fire department added that they would release the next update once they determine the cause of the fire and conclude the investigation.

On Sunday, neighbors noticed fire coming out of Pierce’s house. After they reported the fire to the fire department, WBLFD arrived at the scene and began fire suppression procedures. Then they found that one adult, three kids, and a dog were inside the house. However, none of them were alive.
