Kylie Kelce finds “unsolicited mom advice” from strangers unwelcoming. She shares four children with her husband, former NFL player Jason Kelce. During her appearance on the latest episode of the Sports Club Podcast, the 34-year-old clarified her stance on parenting advice.
Kylie Kelce slams ‘unsolicited’ parenting advice as a mom of 4 kids: ‘I don’t need it’
Kylie Kelce, mom to Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 1, opened up about how she feels when people give her “unsolicited” parenting advice. While speaking on the March 29 episode of the podcast hosted by fellow WAG Allison Kucharczyk, Kelce admitted she had “underlying anger” for anyone who gives her such advice.
Kelce said, “Like, when people see you out with your kid, and they’re like, ‘Mm, they should have a hat on.’ I’m like, ‘Mm, you should mind your f–king business.'” She gave another example of the kind of advice she does not like, saying, “‘She should have socks on.’ That’s great, do you have any? Because the three pairs I brought with me, she already chucked, so you do with that what you will.”
Kelce also shared that one of her children struggled to keep shoes on. After repeatedly losing them, she eventually gave up and opted to just have the child wear socks instead. “And the one person was like, ‘Oh, um,’ and I was like, ‘No, no, nobody needs it.’ I don’t need it. You don’t need it. You don’t need this heat. Stay out of my kitchen. I’m good,” she added.
Kucharczyk, who is currently expecting her second kid, asked Kelce about a specific comment that made her want to punch them in the face. The mom of four said, “Well, sometimes I have just this underlying anger when people want to give unsolicited advice, so most comments that are unwelcome advice end up with me feeling like I could fix this really quick with a punch in the face.”
