Robert Pattinson’s Most ‘Uncomfortable Costume’ Was a Pain in His Butt

Robert Pattinson confessed that the most “uncomfortable costume” from his movie “Mickey 17” was a pain in the butt for him. The 39-year-old actor was promoting his upcoming A24 film “The Drama” with Zendaya when he shared this information. Notably, “The Drama” releases in cinemas on April 3.

Robert Pattinson reveals his most ‘uncomfortable’ costume

Robert Pattinson dished about his most “uncomfortable” costume. In Entertainment Weekly’s “Lie vs Lie” segment with Zendaya, the actor recalled that the outfit he wore in “Mickey 17” was his “most uncomfortable costume” ever. Pattinson revealed, “I once did this movie where the only thing I had on was like a pipe up my butt.” His “The Drama” co-star declared it a lie.

Pattinson confessed that it was true and told his co-star to try “wearing an internal costume.” “It’s pretty uncomfortable,” he quipped. The 39-year-old actor mentioned that the film he was talking about was “Mickey 17”. For those unversed, Pattinson starred as Mickey Barnes in the Bong Joon-ho-directed sci-fi comedy film “Mickey 17”. Zendaya couldn’t believe it and asked if he actually “wore a pipe up his butt.”

The “Twilight” star confirmed it was true and shared that the “pipe was too bendy and too small” to insert. The “Euphoria” alum wasn’t entirely convinced by her co-star’s story and declared it a lie eventually.

In the same interview, the 39-year-old actor dished on another uncomfortable experience. He recalled his “worst audition” story in the video. Pattinson narrated, “The worst audition story was pretending to carry a rock from one side of the room to another in your underpants, a heavy rock.”

Zendaya immediately flashed “true” for the story. She confessed she knew about it because he had mentioned this incident to her in a past conversation.

The “Batman” star further explained, “It was for 300 (the epic historical action film released in 2006). All the guys in England were doing that, and everyone came out looking absolutely traumatized, and not a single person got the job.”
