Renowned podcaster Joe Rogan has once again slammed Donald Trump regarding the latter’s approach towards Iran, this time posing the speculation that the President could have commenced the war to divert attention from issues in the country. Rogan even backed his point by highlighting how the Jeffrey Epstein controversy had died down since the advent of the war, adding that a “psychotic” leader has the potential to carry out such deceptions.
Joe Rogan calls out Donald Trump for Iran War
On the April 2 episode of his podcast, the veteran UFC color commentator and fellow podcaster Theo Von discussed how the POTUS and his administration may have started the Iran war to “cover up problems at home.”
“A lot of things are getting exposed right now,” Joe Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience. “There’s a lot of fraud. People are also scared because no one’s getting in trouble for things. Like, no one’s getting in trouble for the Epstein files.”
In response, Von shared Rogan’s sentiments, stating that news coverage of the Epstein scandal has completely died down since Donald Trump began the assault on Iran.
“Well, that’s part of what happens when there’s some sort of a big social thing,” Rogan replied. He added, “One thing that, in the past, leaders have used to cover up problems at home is a f*****g war. I’m not saying that’s why they bombed Iran, but that would be a way to do it. If you’re that psychotic, and you were thinking about doing it anyway, you might be able to justify it.”
The former television host then remarked how leaders all around the world have historically leveraged the excuse of war to continue being in power. “I’m confused,” Joe Rogan exclaimed. “I can’t believe we went to this war. When we started bombing Iran, I was like, there can’t, this can’t be true.”
