Alan Ritchson’s intense confrontation with his neighbor may have been fuelled by one thing. Police dropped the charges against the actor after bodycam footage showed the altercation between him and Ronnie Taylor in a residential area near Nashville. Ronnie had become increasingly frustrated by the actor who’d been cruising around the area before on his motorcycle.
Things got ugly between them, with Ronnie getting beaten up by the Reacher star. Both were clearly agitated with one another, which led to the confrontation.
The Reacher star claimed his neighbor smelled of alcohol
More details are coming to light about the fight involving Alan and his neighbor. New footage captured by Law&Crime Network shows the actor speaking with police at the scene. In the video, Alan suggests that Ronnie may be under the influence of alcohol. He is heard asking the police to administer a toxicology test on him. This was purely the actor’s opinion.
Ronnie is seen running into the street in the video to stop Alan, who is riding on his motorcycle. He falls off the bike as a result, and the two start arguing intensely. Witnesses say that Ronnie was egging Alan on and trying to bait him into hitting him. Ronnie, however, said afterwards that he was simply worried while believing Alan was driving in an unsafe manner. Ronnie adds that he just wanted to protect the kids in the neighborhood.
The Brentwood Police Department has said they won’t be charging either man in this incident. They came to this conclusion after reviewing the video and taking down witness statements.
According to Ronnie, he has received dozens of threats since the viral altercation. No money was exchanged between the two. Late last month, Alan said that season four of his show Reacher had wrapped.
