Jimmy Kimmel Calls Donald Trump ‘Childish’ Amid Jesus Photo Controversy

Veteran comedian Jimmy Kimmel has added yet another entry to his long list of Donald Trump roasts, now blasting the President for posting an AI-generated rendition of himself as Jesus. In his latest monologue, the seasoned late-night talk show host mocked Trump for posting such a photo in the first place before dissecting it in front of the live audience to draw more laughs.

Jimmy Kimmel slams Donald Trump after Jesus photo

Recently, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the titular host ridiculed the Republican leader for sharing a photo of himself dressed as Jesus on his Truth Social profile.

“This is an absolutely bananas thing for anyone to post, let alone the President,” Jimmy Kimmel noted on the Monday, April 13 episode of his show. He then zoomed in to highlight more bizarre elements from the image and quipped, “The first problem I see is his hands are normal size. That’s not realistic.”

Kimmel also pointed out the “fighter-jets” or “the F-16s of peace” hovering in the top corner of the picture. He then brought the audience’s attention to the mysterious figures flying over the President’s head and described them as “some sort of Demogorgon from Stranger Things.”

Lastly, Kimmel highlighted “the weirdest detail” in the picture, which was linked to the man Trump was attending to. He remarked, “The man Donald Jesus Trump is healing looks a whole lot like Jeffrey Epstein. Even AI can’t keep him from his BF, Jeff!”

The veteran comedian then detailed how Donald Trump’s Jesus stunt had backfired, as the POTUS later decided to take the post down. “This little detour into messiah status did not get Trump the reaction he was hoping for from the Christian community,” he said. “Overall, they’re not on board with the whole false idols thing. And a lot of people were upset.”

Meanwhile, in an interview, Trump clarified that the now-deleted photo was “supposed to be me as a doctor making people better” (via CBS News). However, Kimmel was not buying the President’s explanation at all, and instead remarked that “on top of being reckless and a liar and just ridiculous in general, Trump is also a coward.”
