Megyn Kelly Says Sydney Sweeney’s ‘Euphoria’ Character ‘Sexualizes Infancy’

Megyn Kelly says Sydney Sweeney’s character in “Euphoria” Season 3 crosses a moral line. On the April 14 episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly reacted to a teaser from the show’s upcoming season and focused on Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, highlighting that the clip shows Cassie moving into an adult-content, OnlyFans-style storyline. Kelly argued that the visuals go far beyond shock value.

Megyn Kelly blasts ‘Euphoria’ creator for ‘sexualizing infancy’ with Sydney Sweeney’s character

Megyn Kelly discussed Sydney Sweeney’s character in the teaser of “Euphoria” Season 3 while speaking with Josh Holmes, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook from the “Ruthless” podcast. As the group described what they saw, they expressed surprise and disgust.

Kelly emphasized, “She’s dressed as a baby.” She described the scene in detail, noting that Sweeney’s character is “in a baby’s outfit” and “she’s sucking on a binky/pacifier” while spreading her legs.

Then, Kelly charged at the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, saying, “This is like…this is sexualizing infancy.” She added that she had seen commentary suggesting the imagery reflects a kink and strongly condemned that idea, while also aiming at Levinson personally, as she called him “sick.”

Kelly claimed that Levinson forces women into nude scenes that do not need them. Moreover, she said Sweeney allegedly addressed it with him and requested him to “stop doing this,” because “it’s very gratuitous.”

While Kelly clarified she has not watched “Euphoria,” she said the teaser alone showed her enough, arguing that Hollywood keeps missing the point about what “most normal people” will accept, and warning that the content risks desensitizing reactions to the worst kind of wrongdoing.

Josh Holmes said the scene raises basic questions about the writing itself. Meanwhile, Michael Duncan wondered whether the moment served the story or reflected on whether the director was “working out some — his own sick fetish here through the production of this show?”

In the end, Megyn Kelly believes Sydney Sweeney’s character in “Euphoria” Season 3 teaser crossed a line, and she held the creators behind the show accountable.
