It’s been more than two decades since Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt split up, but apparently, the Friends star still isn’t over it. Thankfully, her new boyfriend – Jim Curtis – is helping with that. According to an insider, the hypnotherapist is helping erase the pain that has lingered since Jennifer’s high-profile divorce.

To recap, Jennifer and Brad were undeniably Hollywood’s “it” couple in the early 2000s. They started dating in 1998 and went on to tie the knot in a star-studded celebrity wedding in July 2000. Five years later though, things came crashing down.
Brad was alleged to have fallen in love with Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, and the pair confirmed their romance just months after he split from Jennifer. Heartbreaking stuff, right?
Well, it seems so, as a source has revealed Jennifer still carries pain relating to her divorce. “For a long time, she told herself she was fine and had moved on,” an insider today told Radar Online. “But the truth is, she really hadn’t fully let go of the pain of her divorce and all the abandonment she felt when Brad left her for Angelina.”
That said, hypnosis – particularly from her new partner – has reportedly really helped the Friends actor. “She says hypnosis was the missing piece, that it helped unlock something in her subconscious that allowed her to completely shed that old story of herself as the victim,” the insider claimed.
“Jim has been such a great guide for her in all of this,” they went on. “She credits him with teaching her how to do this and says she’s forever grateful.”
