Terry Crews goes shirtless to perform iconic ‘White Chicks’ scene
Terry Crews stripped down to recreate his iconic White Chicks scene during Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining set at Coachella this weekend. The former NFL player showcased his ripped physique and toned muscles as he sang and performed “A Thousand Miles.”
For those unversed, Crews sang the same song to woo Tiffany Wilson (Marlon Wayans) in White Chicks. He wore a large headset and hilariously quipped to the audience, “Let me flex the way I need to flex. I wish Sabrina would bring somebody else to turn these lights on, that’s what I said” (via Complex).
Crews went on to reveal how he pitched the idea to Carpenter. He shared, “And then you know what else? I said Sabrina Carpenter? Oh, the white chick. Reminds me of my favorite song, ‘A Thousand Miles.’” One fan commented, “We all thought of it,” and shared a clip from the movie. A second fan hilariously quipped, “are they exploiting Terry’s muscles again?”
A third fan wrote, “We are soooo back”. A fourth fan penned, “Oh my God, White Chicks movie reference! What nostalgia!” A fifth fan remarked, “Terry Crews doing Vanessa Carlton at Coachella is the fever dream I didn’t know I needed. My brain hurts in the best way.”
Finally, one fan shared, “That’s such a random but perfect crossover. Terry Crews singing A Thousand Miles at Coachella during Sabrina Carpenter’s set is pure chaos in the best way… I know the crowd was losing it.”
A couple of years back, Crews recreated the iconic White Chicks dance for America’s Got Talent. Dressed in a sharp black suit, Crews grooved onto the stage with excitement. He shared the post on Instagram with the caption, “Always ready for this song! The perfect AGT audience hype song.” Unsurprisingly, the post garnered 582.5K likes and 11.1K comments.
