Robert Pattinson and Zendaya surprise fans at The Drama screening
Robert Pattinson and Zendaya turn an ordinary night into magic, slipping unannounced into The Drama screening and greeting stunned fans face to face.
On Saturday, April 18, Zendaya and Pattinson attended a special screening of their new movie at The Grove in Los Angeles. Fan accounts noted that Tom Holland joined the Dune actress at the screening, where she and her co-stars introduced the film to the audience.
The 29-year-old sported a t-shirt printed with “To be loved is to be known” on the front and “The Drama” on the back. She styled it with a purple skirt featuring lace trim and red shoes. Meanwhile, Pattinson went for a dark coat over a plaid button-up and a dark tee, paired with off-white pants and sneakers.
“Thank you so much for spending your weekend with us,” Zendaya said, addressing the crowd. “Incredibly grateful for all the love and support. So glad you guys are here to enjoy the film.”
Meanwhile, the Twilight star added, “Thank you guys so much, and it’s just such an incredible thing that everyone’s being so supportive of this movie and yeah. Really, really appreciate it. Thank you so much.”
Apart from the audience reactions inside the theater, online responses poured in in no time. “OMG! how did i miss this!!” wrote a fan. “Wish it was in Aus! So lucky! We love them down under,” echoed another. “Why am I not here?!?” read a fan comment.
Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, A24’s The Drama opened in theaters on April 3. Starring Zendaya and Pattinson, it traces a couple’s relationship as it collapses days before their wedding.
