The Bachelorette alum Katie Thurston is reacting to rumors that she and her husband of one year, comedian Jeff Arcuri, are separating.
“I have a question. Are you divorcing me?” Katie asked Jeff in an April 21 Instagram Story. “I noticed you haven’t been ‘liking’ my posts … The internet says you’re leaving me.”
“I don’t look at Instagram,” her husband replied. “Are you serious? I’ll go ‘like’ them right now if you need [me] to. I don’t ‘like’ anything.”
The reality TV star has shut the speculation down
Apparently, a fake Facebook account recently shared the “shocking news” that the couple was headed for divorce. Nevertheless, Jeff and Katie’s marriage appears stronger than ever. In fact, they just bought a house.
“Life update: @jarcuri and I bought a house!” Katie posted to her Instagram today. “Not just any house, but one that will require a lot [of] TLC to get her ready … Stay tuned for the future YouTube series to be dropped.”
Previously, Katie and Jeff tied the knot in March 2025, one month after her diagnosis with breast cancer. “It was so sweet,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “Obviously, we were wanting to plan a wedding, and there’s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health … [But] we don’t know what the next year looks like.“
“One night he said, ‘I want to show you that I still love you and that I’m here to stay. I’ll get married to you tomorrow,’” she shared. “We flew our parents in from Michigan and Washington State. We got our marriage license, and a friend is just gonna marry us.”
“It was this kind gesture of him saying, truly, in sickness and in health,” she emphasized. “He shows up every day, and he does it in ways that just continue to surprise.”
In spite of her health battle and cruel fake death reports, Jeff remains at Katie’s side. “I want to be able to be in the hospital with her and just be like, ‘My wife’s in there,'” he said in March. “I don’t want to be not with you for any of this.”
