The Spice Girls alum sat for an interview at the TIME100 summit on Wednesday, April 22, in New York City. During her conversation with the interviewer on stage, the fashion designer opened up about coping with matters from her personal life.

Victoria Beckham recently shared how she copes with personal matters that make headlines in a new interview at the TIME100 Summit in NYC. The interview came after news of a family feud between the fashion designer and her husband, David Beckham, and their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, came to the surface.

During the TIME100 Summit interview, the interviewer went on to mention Victoria Beckham being in the “public eye” for such a long time since her early 20s. The interviewer then talked about her “personal news”, making headlines. The interviewer then asked the fashion designer, “How do you cope mentally, emotionally, when private matters become international news?”

In response to this question, Victoria Beckham said, “I mean, this has been happening since I was 20.” The fashion designer then went on to mention how she has always been supported by her husband, David Beckham. She explained, “So it’s been going on a long time, and I have an incredible husband who supports me enormously.” She further emphasized, “We’re always there for each other.”

Victoria Beckhan then said, “And I’ve learned a long time ago to really not listen to the noise.” She continued, “Not focus on the noise.” The fashion designer explained, “Someone’s always going to have something to say.” She continued, “You know, I focus, and I just don’t pay attention to it if that makes any sense.” She also expressed, “Someone else will deal with it. I don’t want to know, you know.” “That’s how I handle it, I suppose,” the fashion designer added.
