Dua Lipa and Callum Turner reportedly planning Italian wedding in September
An Italian news outlet, Giornale di Sicilia, reported that Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have decided upon a wedding date and location. The couple has reportedly set their mind on Palermo, Sicily, in Italy, for a three-day ceremony in early September, and the outlet claimed that the guests have already reserved an entire floor of suites at Villa Igiea outside of Palermo.
Moreover, a wedding planner has allegedly traveled several times as preparations are underway. The report described Lipa and Turner walking through the historic center in the city, stopping at markets and blending in under baseball caps, with heavy security by their side.
Additionally, ELLE cited Villa Igiea as the rumored venue, noting the couple’s past visit to Palermo, including time spent in local cafes. The Times cited Patrick Lanzino, manager of the Coletti bar, who described the couple’s stop in casual terms, claiming, “She drank Campari soda, he drank an Old Fashioned, and they ate olives while playing cards.” He added, “She was very sweet and they seemed like a normal couple.”
While neither Lipa nor Turner has confirmed wedding details publicly, the “Houdini” singer has spoken about their engagement, telling British Vogue, “Yeah we‘re engaged. It’s very exciting.” She added, “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”
As of now, fans are eyeing the rumored wedding date and location, with multiple reports suggesting that Lipa and Turner are ready to tie the knot.
