During a chat with Adam Scott on Big Bro With Kid Cudi last week, Cudi opened up about calling in a few favors to make sure his teenage daughter, Vada Wamwene Mescudi, and her friends didn’t miss Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
“My daughter’s a Swiftie,” Cudi shared. “She texted me one day, ‘Daddy, is it possible for you to get tickets for me and my friends to see Taylor Swift?’ I was just like, ‘Let me see what I can do.’ Taylor Swift had me looking like the coolest dad ever.”
The popstar made it happen in a major way. Swift’s team went all out for Vada and her friends. They experienced the Eras Tour with red-carpet VIP access. Cudi explained that he reached out to Swift’s team to ask about extra tickets. Honoring his request, they offered friends-and-family tickets with a great spot in the stadium.
“I remember my daughter texted me back like, ‘Dad, you’re the best.’ I was just like, ‘Yeah, man!’ Thank you, Taylor Swift,” the “Better Place” singer shared.
Swift’s Eras Tour stands as one of the most sought-after live events of the century. Spanning 149 dates in 2023 and 2024, the tour grossed more than $2 billion and drew over 10 million fans, according to Billboard Boxscore.
