Kendall Jenner made sure that all eyes stayed on her even after the Met Gala 2026, as she shed the outer layer of her Gap dress to pair the corset underneath with a sheer skirt. May 4 marked the 818 Tequila founder’s 12th Met Gala appearance. Her sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, and mother Kris Jenner also attended the gala.
Kendall Jenner ditches Gap dress for corset with faux nipples and fully sheer skirt for Met Gala after-party
Kendall Jenner’s after-party look comprised the same nude-toned sculpted bodice with faux nipples she had been wearing at the Met Gala 2026. She appeared to have swapped the heavier lower part of the dress for a satin chiffon skirt in the same shade as the corset. The skirt featured a raw, undone hem. A matching translucent scarf completed her look.
In some photos, Jenner wore the scarf over her face, and in others, it was draped around her neck. Styled by Danielle Goldberg, she carried a white drawstring bag and slipped into a pair of pointed open-toe nude sandals. She collaborated with GapStudio and Zac Posen for both of her ensembles, the Met Gala dress and the after-party look. According to Who What Wear, in a press release, Posen said, “The after party look was always meant to be the other side of the same coin, softer, more intimate, but no less intentional.”
Jenner walked the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a custom GapStudio dress. The Winged Victory of Samothrace inspired the dress, nailing the “Fashion Is Art” theme. At the gala, she wore her hair in a sleek bun with a middle part. Opting for a more relaxed look for the after-party, she styled her hair in loose waves. Further, her makeup was simple, with black eyeliner and a nude lip. Her sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, also wore striking breastplates to the Met Gala.
