Ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters might feel burdened amid the ongoing scandal related to their parents. Recently, a royal author, Sam McAlister, claimed that Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice might be feeling overwhelmed by their family situation.
For those unversed, the sisters’ parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, were stripped of their royal titles last year. They also had to leave their house, Royal Lodge. Furthermore, the former Duke of York’s arrest in February drew public attention as well.
Ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters in ‘very difficult position with their parents’ amid scandal, per author
Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have reportedly put their daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, in a “difficult position.” In an episode of Isabel Webster’s podcast, “New Chapters,” royal author Sam McAlister spoke about the royal sisters’ situation amid the scandal related to their parents.
“It’s a terrible burden to have the cloud of this allegation over your father,” the TV producer said, via The Mirror. Furthermore, she also claimed that the princesses had to hear “some very unpalatable things about their mother’s behavior.”
According to the author, many would seemingly not understand the sisters. They would reportedly see the two as “immensely privileged young women,” surrounded by money and power.
Moreover, McAlister seemed to be supportive of Eugenie and Beatrice as the princesses dealt with their parents’ controversies. “I do think they are in a very difficult position with their parents. Every day there is a new revelation, and you can only imagine the burden that places on them,” she claimed.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice was spotted in London a few days ago. A viral TikTok video featured her loading luggage into a taxi. On the other hand, Princess Eugenie recently grabbed attention with her pregnancy news.
She announced it on Instagram with a photo of her sons holding her latest ultrasound. The upcoming baby would be her third child with husband, Jack Brooksbank, after two boys, August and Ernest.
