The Jennifer Aniston camp is speaking out about the alleged drama between her and the so-called “sixth friend”. That is the terms Lisa Kudrow said in an interview this year, something her agency apparently referred to her as when working on the sitcom Friends years ago.
The speculation is that Jennifer and Lisa are not on good terms. The two ladies who each won a Golden Globe for their work on Friends are said to be anything but that these days. Jennifer’s team is sharing their side of that story.

Rumors of a fallout between Jennifer and Lisa are greatly exaggerated. At least that’s what Jennifer’s rep is saying. They are denying that the two have any ill will between one another, according to RadarOnline. Even so, that hasn’t quieted the speculation of bad blood between them.
Lisa’s “sixth friend” comment may be behind all this drama. An insider says that she “meant no harm by her comments.” They claim that Lisa was just referring to the fact that her castmates were often seen as bigger stars at the time. The insider says that Jennifer isn’t happy and believes this is a “self-pitying narrative.”
Jennifer has a lot going on in both her personal and professional life today. A fifth season of The Morning Show, starring her, is set to come out later, and she’s said to be secretly engaged to Jim Curtis. Last month, there was speculation that Lisa wouldn’t be on her guest list for the big day.
Her interview this year wasn’t the only time Lisa may have shot herself in the foot with Jennifer. A year after castmate Matthew Perry’s death, the No Good Deeds actress made headlines saying, “That six-way relationship took some work.” The cast of the hit show all got together in 2021 for a special called Friends: The Reunion.
