Some startling details about paranormal activity are coming to light. Donald Trump’s Department of War shared for the first time on Friday files on UFOs. Those documents have been in the government’s possession for decades.
For years, governments were reportedly keeping UFO details to themselves, but these files are now accessible to all. The Department says that there is “no clearance required” for people who want to view all the content. Among the information people can see are photos, videos and original source documents of the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), better known by most as UFOs.
Declassified files can now be accessed “instantly”
Transparency is paramount, according to the government. In the interest of this, the Department of War said that Americans are now able to “access the federal government’s declassified UAP files instantly.” The Pentagon says it will add more files in the future to those already released on Friday. They’ll be doing this when needed.
The release of these files is something the public knew was coming. This week, Trump promised that they would be releasing some “very interesting” UFO files. Among the documents now accessible are the unsealed trove of incidents surrounding the Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 moon missions. During the Apollo 12 missing astronaut Alan Bean claimed to have seen “flashes of light” in space. The Apollo 17 crew alleges that they saw “very bright particles” in the distance.
For a long time, conspiracy theorists and lawmakers have been seeking more disclosure when it comes to UFOs. Trump has often emphasized the importance of releasing this information. Analyzing some of those documents may still be pending.
The President’s promise came days after one of his predecessors made a bold claim. Former President Barack Obama said in an interview that aliens were real.
