Hold onto your clams because Bravo just dropped some exciting news for Real Housewives of Rhode Island fans. The newest Housewives series has officially been picked up for Season 2, and that’s not the only exciting news they dropped.
Bravo casually teased a brand-new series about Texas Wives on the horizon that definitely sounds like it could be a new Housewives city. Plus, they announced a full summer jam-packed with new seasons of some of our favorites.
A wise man once said that summer should be fun, and it definitely will be with this much Bravo news.
The Bravo summer schedule is packed
The NBCUniversal Upfronts are underway, so Bravo just dumped a whole bunch of news on our heads.
First things first — congratulations are in order for the RHORI ladies. This shouldn’t be too surprising considering their blockbuster first season, but Bravo has given them the green light to keep the chaos going for Season 2. The news arrived before they even filmed a reunion for Season 1.
Joining RHORI in the list of renewals are several Housewives shows already in production. That includes Potomac Season 11, Salt Lake City Season 7, New Jersey Season 15, and New York Season 16. Pour one out for the Real Housewives of Miami, which remains on pause until further notice.
On top of the renewal announcements, Bravo also confirmed a new series with the working title of Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives. It’s set in the “picture-perfect town” of Boerne, Texas, and everything about the synopsis is screaming Real Housewives.
“Centered on a tight-knit circle of glamour women, this series follows their lives as they raise families, run ranches and farms, and manage sparkling social calendars in a town rooted in rodeos and tradition.”
The synopsis continued, “Behind the polished smiles and Sunday sermons, however, there are intimate relationships and forbidden romances that test loyalties and marriages, jeopardizing the town’s pristine image and proving that perfection is far more complicated than anyone could imagine.”
So far, Bravo hasn’t gone as far as to confirm that this is a Housewives show, but this description is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Either way, we’ll be watching with a bucket of popcorn.
Rounding out the announcements, Bravo confirmed that Vanderpump Rules will be getting a Las Vegas spinoff. And you can go ahead and mark your calendars for these summer premieres:
- Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11: June 8
- The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3: June 15
- Next Gen NYC Season 2: June 24
- Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20: July 9
